Gitanas Naus\u0117da received a Letter of Credence from the Ambassador of the Sovereign Order of Malta to the Republic of Lithuania, Dr. Christoph Count Calice, on October 3<sup>rd<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>Meeting with the Order of Malta Ambassador, the President welcomed the Order&#8217;s active engagement in Lithuania and thanked the Ambassador for the social and healthcare programs carried out across the country.<\/p>\n<p>The President emphasized that reducing inequality and exclusion and strengthening a welfare state are extremely important to him.<\/p>\n<p>H.E.
