The Ambassador of the Order of Malta to Lithuania Dr. Christoph Count Calice with Lithuanian First Lady Diana Nausediene and Bishop H.E. Darius Trijonis participated in the Order of Malta Relief Service (OMRO) campaign “Malteser soup”.  This campaing invited citizens and guests of the capital to warm up with a bowl of soup, a cake and support the elderly living alone in poverty. So that the Maltesers can visit them with soup and attention for the next 2025 year.

“Maltesers Soup” has united Lithuania

This year, a record number of “Malteser soup” events took place – in 44 cities and towns across the country, Maltesers distributed soup and spread the message: the poor elderly need help, let’s help them, they really deserve a “thank you” from all of us. The large number of volunteers and Malteser supporters shows the growing and growing concern of a maturing society for the needy.
