During his visit to Lithuania on November 24 -26th, Ambasssador of the Order of Malta to Lithuania H.E. Christoph von Calice took part in the elections of the First Assembly of the Baltic Delegation of the Grand Priory of Austria of the Order of Malta (video conference with the Estonian members of the Baltic Delegation of the Order of Malta in Tallinn, the Grand Prior of Austria, the Ambassador of the Order of Malta to Estonia H.E. Mag. Manfred von Markhof, Bishop H.E. Darius Trijonis, and advisers to the Ambassador Mr Michael von Brauchitsch and Mr Krzysztof Wardawy) on November 25th, 2025

Following candidates from Lithuania and Estonia were proposed for the election of the Delegate, the Delegation Council, and the Auditors in due time and in accordance with the Regulations on Delegations of the Grand Priory of Austria of the Order of Malta dated March 11th, 2024:For the Delegate:

► Linas Sabaliauskas (admitted June 2024; Delegate of the Baltic Delegation appointed by the Grand Prior and approved by the Council in May 2025)

For the Delegation Council:

► Dr Alexander Tsikhilov (admitted June 2025; Vice-Delegate / to be confirmed by the Delegation Council)
► Indrek Petersoo (admitted October 2024)
► Paulius Vilemas (admitted October 2025; Treasurer / to be confirmed by the Delegation Council)
► Andrius Lukašonokas (admitted October 2024)
For the Auditors:
► Veikko Varik (admitted October 2025)
► Viktorija Regelskė (admitted October 2025)

All proposed candidates were elected by a majority of votes in Vilnius and Tallinn.

During this visit to Lithuania H.E. Ambasssador also took part in the celebration of Holy Mass in the Chapel of Saint Casimir in Vilnius Cathedral with the Lithuanian Delegation of the Order of Malta. and had lunch at the Vilnius Club with the Apostolic Nuncio to the Baltic States, Archbishop H.E. Dr Georg Gänswein, the Bishop of Šiauliai H.E. Darius Trijonis, and other honourable guests of the Vilnius Club on November 25 th.
